Omotayo Philip Dada is a Managing Director and business executive with over 15 years of leadership experience across logistics, supply chain, and commercial operations in complex and evolving markets.
He currently leads Inland Container Nigeria Limited (ICNL), where he is driving the strategic transformation of the organization into a multi service logistics platform,
expanding beyond traditional container operations into integrated solutions including airfreight and general haulage. His work focuses on strengthening revenue resilience, operational efficiency, and cross-border trade enablement within Nigeria and the ECOWAS corridor.
Prior to ICNL, Omotayo held senior leadership roles at Red Star Express Plc and its subsidiary, where he led national and regional commercial operations. He played a key role
in driving revenue growth, securing high-value enterprise clients, and improving commercial performance, contributing to sustained business expansion across multiple regions.
His leadership approach combines strategic foresight, execution discipline, and stakeholder engagement, with demonstrated experience navigating economic volatility, regulatory complexity, and infrastructure constraints. He operates at the intersection of infrastructure, trade, and policy, contributing to industry dialogue on logistics efficiency and economic development.
Omotayo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos. He has completed executive development programs with MIT Sloan Management Review and holds certifications across supply chain, leadership, and project management.
He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD) Nigeria and a Registered Director with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of the Port &
Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria (POTMAN), reflecting his commitment to governance and industry best practices.
His contributions to the logistics sector have earned national recognition, including the NEGF Lifetime Achievement Award and commendation from the Guild of Marine Surveyors for his work on container transportation and logistics in Nigeria.
