heme Charles Esq., ACIArb (U.K) is a consummate professional with vast experience in diverse areas of law including but not limited to Commercial Law; Criminal Law, Conveyancing, Intellectual Property, Mortgage and Acquisition, Loan Restructuring and Recovery, Energy Law, Oil and Gas, Maritime & Shipping, Labour Law, Arbitration and ADR. He has advised and represented several blue-chip companies in Litigation and Arbitration and also served as the Registrar to several arbitral tribunals in arbitration disputes.
Iheme Charles started his legal practice with the Department of Public Prosecutions, Ministry of Justice, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State before he joined the Law Firm of P.G.U Madu & Associates as an associate where he rose to become a senior associate and head of the ADR Unit. He obtained his LLB from the University of Benin, Benin-City, Edo State in 2007 and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2008.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association [NBA] and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K) Nigeria Branch.
